Help! I can't find a reliable car shipping company...
November 08, 2008, 03:12:55 PM by BigJock
I need to ship my Ford Bronco on November 28th. Not the 27th - not the 29th - I need it shipped on the 28th. I can't seem to find a car shipping company that will guarantee that date. I've called five companies so far and each one of them has the same sorry excuse - "We can't guarantee that date, Sir." If you ask me, that's a bunch of baloney with extra cheese. Can someone help me find a company that will guarantee shipping of my truck on the 28th.

Question about car shipping quotes.
November 08, 2008, 03:03:39 PM by Webby
A co-worker of mine told me that he was charged to receive a car shipping quote. I've been searching on the web for the past couple of days and I've found several sites that offer free car shipping quotes. Why do some companies charge for quotes while others do not?

Dispelling the Myth Behind Door-to-Door Car Shipping
|
Before explaining what door-to-door shipping is, let me explain what door-to-door shipping is not. Door-to-door shipping is not delivering your 2007 Honda Civic Sedan directly in front of your house on your newly paved wrap around driveway. A truck driver needs adequate space in order to maneuver his truck. If you live in an area with [...]

Before signing the contract and making your initial deposit, make sure that you thoroughly read the [...]

If Your Car Is Damaged During Transport On Halloween
|
If you are shipping your car on an open carrier during the week of Halloween, you will want to have adequate coverage because your car could get “egged” during transport. If you’ve never experienced getting egged before, it can actually chip your paint. So, make sure that the auto transport company you choose offers a [...]

Preparing Your Car for International Car Shipping
|
There are a few things to know when shipping your vehicle internationally. In the US, most companies will request a deposit prior to shipping via credit card, bank check or cash and the remainder upon deliver. With international shipping, things work slightly different when it comes to payments.
The majority of international car shipping companies [...]
