My wife and I are looking into starting our own auto transport business and have a few questions.

How is the industry doing in the down economy?

How seasonal is it?

What is the average $ per mile?

We are planning on running a 1 ton and a wedge trailer.

Any advice or info is welcome and greatly appreciated!

Thanks  Grin

Hello,

The industry is pretty strong overall, since more people are buying and selling cars online. On the other hand, more companies are being created, creating more competition.

It's definitely busier in the spring and summer months.

Good Luck.
