My wife and I used an Auto Shipping service to ship two vehicles from two cities in Florida that was about 10 hours away.  It cost us about $700 for a small car and $850 for a Honda SUV (for terminal to terminal shipping). An extra $100 was added for pick up and drop-off at each point.  It took nearly 14 days for to deliver the vehicles.

We were very satisfied with the service. The shipping company that we used reimbursed us for a new key when someone opened our glove compartment and stole the wheel lock key.

I here Auto shipping stories from friends, it does not have to be a hair-raising experience. There are various shipping options to explore and you can get quotes from different shipping companies on the Internet.  You can even book it from the website. That’s what I did. Some companies offer a discount if you have more than one car to ship.  We received $50 off each of our cars.

It is very encouraging to know that if you ship more than one vehicle, an auto transporter will offer discounts. That’s why it is so important to get a quote and ask for any discounts available.  It is also very important ask as many questions as possible; don’t assume anything.
