Preparing your car for shipping isn’t as hard as you think. The key is preparing your vehicle prior to shipping the right way. The following are a few tips on how to prepare your car for shipping prior to your pickup date.
When shipping across the country, make sure that you properly prepare your car for it’s new climate. Don’t forget to get an oil change as well as your, coolant, and other fluids.
Remove your vehicles antenna.
Take of your grill covers, rear spoilers and exterior spare tire.
All personal items from your car should be removed.
Only leave ¼ tank of gas or less for car shipping.
Have a spare set of keys for your auto shipper.
Remove your audio equipment such as mobile phones and other equipment that’s not built in.

I filled out one quote with accurate car shipping information and then I did a quote on a separate site with inaccurate car shipping info. I got two separate quotes. This is why it is so important that you have accurate information about your make and model of your car, etc.
